The model uses 2 x Torpedo 500 motors geared 2.5:1 powered by 2 x 6v 12ah
lead acid batteries.  Each motor is separately controlled by an Mtroniks Viper 15
speed controller, and utilises 'tank control' i.e. the left transmitter stick operates
the left motor and the right stick operates the right motor. No mixers, electronic
or otherwise, are used in the boat. Although a bow thruster hasn't been fitted,
the boat is extremely manoeuvrable and can rotate on the spot.
