The motor is a Model Slipway supplied motor and gearbox combination controlled by an Electronize electronic speed controller. Power comes from two lead gel batteries of 6V 10Ah each laying flat in the hull, in front of the motor. The batteries have been wired through a double pole switch to allow the choice of either 6V or 12V running. The radio gear is standard Acoms 2 channel 27 Mhz. The model was built following the instructions and finished with Halfords brand grey primer, with Red primer for the under water part of the hull. This was then followed by a coat of Plastikote clear satin lacquer. The figures are modified from 1:48 scale Monogram plastic model kits.
